Whatever it is, I cannot get enough of these characters. Maybe because they are predictable and I go back to this series when I need a break from serious fantasy/sci-fi. Maybe because I’m so invested in Sam, Mason and Logan. While it was pretty repetative with Sam’s mom drama and the whole Adam and Becky frenemy deal, I still didn’t get tired of it. They were also looking toward their futures together, as a family. They showed some good growth with their decisions and you could tell they were all aware of the consequences. But now they can go to big boy jail and do hard time, and while they love to push the envelope, they aren’t complete idiots.

And they always piss someone off, so they have plenty of enemies to protect themselves from. Lots of drama just like the others but this time they are older and more mature about how they handle their vendettas. I could remember the times we’d laughed, the few there were.
